All The Small Things

All The Small Things

In Tuesday’s letter (https://kaidavis.com/how-to-make-ice-cubes-out-of-icebergs/), I shared some advice:

If you’re going to work on personal (or business) projects over the winter holiday, you should focus on small, high-impact tasks or projects that help you get to your objective easier (or make it unnecessary).

If you get tempted to work on business projects during this very unprecedented Winter holiday, over the next few days I’m going to share four ideas for projects you can work on that will help you get (and close) more leads come 2021.

If a few of these suggestions resonate with you, I encourage you to pick one of them to work on at a time. Choose the one that best aligns with your overall objective/goals/available time + energy. Then get to work.

#1: Map out your S&M (Sales and Marketing) funnel

Here are a few questions to ask yourself:

This analysis is a significant step to take to start to identify future optimization opportunities for your overall marketing.

#2 Set up web tracking tools

(e.g., Google Analytics, Fathom, Google Search Console, HotJar)

This way, when it comes time to optimize your website in 2021, you have data to help inform your decisions (more on that here: https://kaidavis.com/your-april-seo-tip/).

Excelsior!

Kai
